Film Night Wednesday 24th April 2024

For our film night this month, we enter the investigative world of Hercule Poirot in Kenneth Brannagh’s latest offering ‘A Haunting in Venice’ (12). The ensemble cast includes Brannagh with Kyle Allen, Camille Cottin, Jamie Dornan, Tina Fey, Jude Hill, Ali Khan, Emma Laird, Kelly Reilly, Riccardo Scamarcio, and Michelle Yeoh.

‘In post-World War II Venice, Poirot, now retired and living in his own exile, reluctantly attends a seance. But when one of the guests is murdered, it is up to the former detective to once again uncover the killer.’ IMDb.

²  ‘It’s beautifully shot, perfectly set, and filled with great actors – and it’s even mercifully under 2 hours. So if you want a good pre-Halloween snack with some chills and thrills but isn’t too much, this is a fun one for you.’ AMFM Magazine®.

Our film nights are proving very popular with attendances of up to 50 persons, and we very much hope you’ll come along and join your fellow Sandleheathers and our good friends from the wider community at this showing.

As usual, tickets will be soon be on sale at the village shop at £5, or on the door at £6.

A beer/wine/soft drinks bar, and tea and coffee will be available from 7.00 pm and the screening will commence at 7.30 pm
