WELCOME TO SANDLEHEATH

We really need your views! Following the recent Call for Sites to accommodate potential new housing, the Neighbourhood Plan Steering Group now need village residents to consider, comment and rank the nine shortlisted sites submitted for such potential development.

How can you do this? We have arranged two ways for you to take part in this survey which is live from the 1st to the 23rd of February (inclusive)

Our small but pretty village is a short distance to the west of the town of Fordingbridge and lies between the New Forest and Cranborne Chase AONB. Fortunate to have an area of common land at its centre, Sandleheath is a mixture of older traditional buildings and limited modern development. Although many of its inhabitants now work in the nearby cities of Salisbury, Southampton and Bournemouth, the village maintains a community based rural feel and is an attractive place to live and bring up children.

If you have any ideas for the village, including cultural, environmental or infrastructure improvements- let us know!

                                                                   PARISH COUNCIL MEETINGS

All meetings usually commence at 7.30pm and are held in the Sandleheath Village Hall, unless otherwise stated.  Members of the public are most welcome to attend these meetings and to also raise any concerns that they may have.  However, it would help the Parish Council to provide a more balanced and considered response to any query, if any person wishing to raising a concern beforehand, informs the Parish Clerk in advance of the meeting.

Please send your email to clerk@sandleheathparish.co.uk.  Thank you.
